ARTISANAL MINING GRAND CHALLENGE
We partnered with Conservation X Labs to help them with marketing and communications activities for the second round of the Artisanal Mining Grand Challenge. We created an awareness campaign across 5 different countries in Latin America on multiple channels with a combination of online and offline marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, paid digital advertising, and more.
Our team created a 5-month content marketing campaign that included
advertising banners, social videos, infographics, campaign branding, media toolkits for press, website redesign and optimization, and more.
We also produced all the content for the virtual event launch and additional content for winner announcement events.
During the innovator’s application period, we ran an advertising campaign on social media targeting individuals and organizations from the scientific and research communities in 5 different countries.
With a relatively low advertising budget, we managed to attract 20,000 unique visitors to the website, 2400+ subscribed to the email newsletter, 700+ users downloaded gated content, 120+ innovators applied to the challenge, and 13 innovators were selected as finalists. We surpassed the established applications received target by 34%, with more than 60% coming from countries in LATAM.
